How to Get Started

Starting your NDIS journey doesn't have to be overwhelming. Here's a clear, simple guide.

Check Your Eligibility

Confirm you meet the NDIS eligibility requirements — age, residency, and disability criteria. If you're unsure, our team or the NDIA can help you assess this.

Contact the NDIS

Call the NDIS on 1800 800 110 or visit myplace.ndis.gov.au to submit an access request. You'll need evidence from a treating professional about your disability.

Attend a Planning Meeting

Once accepted, you'll meet with an NDIS planner or Local Area Coordinator (LAC) to develop your plan. Bring documentation of your goals, needs, and current supports.

Receive Your Plan

Your NDIS plan will outline the funding categories and amounts approved for you. Plans are typically reviewed annually or when your needs change significantly.

Choose Your Provider

With your plan in place, you can choose which registered providers will deliver your supports. This is where NDIS Community Support comes in.

Start Your Supports

Once you've chosen us as your provider, we'll develop a personalised support plan and connect you with the right workers and services. Your journey begins.
